Hui Ling is currently academic faculty at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music where she teaches music studies, musicianship, and piano coaching. In April 2019, Hui Ling kickstart The Learning Curve at the conservatory, a forum series exploring challenging aspects of teaching and learning in music education. It is a discussion not just for educators, but for students and parents too.
As a private educator, she founded The Music Studios in 2018. The Music Studios is a collective of dedicated teachers committed to holistic music education that sows the seeds for a lifelong friendship with music for students of all ages and levels. As Pedagogy Consultant at The Music Studios, Hui Ling leads fellow music teachers in designing the various programmes offered. In addition, she personally teaches the Advanced Piano Performance Programme, Ensemble Programme, Teaching Support Programme and conducts piano masterclasses for all students.
Hui Ling is grateful for the varied teaching opportunities offered to her throughout her teaching journey. It has allowed her to gain experience teaching in different capacities.
